Donate The Refugee and Immigrant Association is able to do its work with help from supporters like you. We accept monetary donations, household items, vehicles, and land/office space. If you are interested in making a non-monetary donation, please contact Jean-Paul or Belton prior to donating any items. Monetary Donations If you would like to contribute a monetary donation, you can donate securely through our PayPal, which is linked below, or write a check made out to “Refugee and Immigrant Association”. Please mail checks to: 1427 Winchell Dr NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. All donations are tax deductible as our organization has 501(c)(3) status. Household Items If you would like to donate any household items such as, furniture, electronics, kitchen tools, towels, rugs, etc. Currently our community has a need for electronics as more students are completing school work from home. Please contact us to donating your items, so they can instruct you on where to drop off your items. Vehicle/Transportation There is a need in our community for vehicles and transportation. If you have a vehicle you are able and willing to donate, please contact us to arrange details and transfer the title. If you have a vehicle and you would like to offer transportation to community members in need, please contact us to discuss any available opportunities. Currently, the biggest need is providing transportation for students from their homes, to school, and back home again. Land/Office Space Our organization is looking to expand our headquarters, if you know of a building or piece of land we can purchase, please reach out.
